The kitchen at Skyggnir impressed me. It was spacious, clean, and well-organized, with labels in multiple languages making it user-friendly. I loved how tidy everything was, as I always had access to the essentials for cooking. My room, while small, was cozy and very comfortable. Two bathrooms with showers were available, easy to get ready. Witnessing the Northern Lights nearby was lovely. The room felt cramped at times, especially with the bed positioned against the wall. The shared bathrooms, although functional, could benefit from more availability during peak times. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting were great.

Absolutely perfect and exceptionally nice location with a view to garden and short walk to a pair of fluffy horses standing right next to, a paddock with Icelandic horses, and a beautiful area. Also, close to the secret lagoon.

The hosts were cute and provided great suggestions for local activities, including nearby thermal pools! Our two sons loved exploring the lovely garden area, and the breakfast was better than anywhere else we stayed during our trip.
In my wife's opinion, more seating in the common area would be great.

I had a cozy night here with a kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook, and the host provided helpful local tips. The only downside was the shower had a bit of limestone, but the comfort made up for it. I'd definitely come back!
